Get digging. Hyper-fast Broadband is happening in our area.
Some of you may know that travelling through Selside is an underground Zayo Fibre line that goes from London to Scotland. We have popped up a cabinet and can now connect true fibre direct to your house, farm or business.
If you live or own property or a business in these parishes: Whitwell & Selside, Fawcett Forest, Longsleddale, Whinfell, Docker, Grayrigg, Lambrigg, Skelsmergh & Scalthwaiterigg
…please fill in this initial interest form to be on the local list for a connection then fill out the Get B4RN form to register with them then… work with us to design the best way to get you connected.
We have a Facebook Page, please ‘Like’ it if you use Facebook, for the latest new and updates. Its “B4RN for the Mint & Sprint”
There are 2 cabinets (“Head End’s”), one at Selside and the other at Grayrigg. For most properties, those that are West of the Mint (inc Mealbank and those to the South & West is Mealbank) will look at the Selside Head End (the big green box) and those the the East of the Mint will look at the Grayrigg Head End. This builds in safety of your connection in case of another hugh storm like Desmond. Our aim is for 100% connection of all 707 properties and rising as we plan for the future and whats happened since the last Parish on line data review. We estimate a 68% take up on the monthly service as some folk may be happy with their current provider but just wish to future proof their properties. For Selside HE we have had a 90% take up.
The B4MS offices at both Mealbank and Kendal Industrial Estate drop in sessions have closed, hopefully everyone had the opportunity to visit and learn over the 2 year period they where running for. If you still need help then work with your local Champion or B4RN direct.
Thanks
